ITB BERLIN NOW 2021: LGBT+ TOURISM PAVILION

Since 2010, LGBT+ Tourism has been an established, successful segment of ITB Berlin. Characterized by openness, creativity and vibrant interaction, this is one of the most diverse areas of the world’s leading travel trade show.

LGBT+ Tourism Pavilion

Together with Diversity Tourism GmbH, ITB Berlin is hosting the LGBT+ Travel Pavilion including the LGBT+ Tourism Educational Hub. The LGBT+ Media Brunch at the CityCube Berlin is home for all accredited media interested in LGBT+ tourism. Members of the media will be able to get together in an informal atmosphere with representatives of destinations and other tourism providers.

LGBT+ Tourism also always has a slot at the ITB Berlin Convention to discuss current topics of the segments by international experts. In 2018, the LGBT+ Pinoeer Award was given out for the first time.

On the ITB weekend, private visitors also enjoying visitor presentations, shows and entertainment at the LGBT+ Travel Pavilion.

Global LGBT+ Leadership Summit

The Global LGBT+ Leadership Summit at ITB attracts exhibitors and tourism trade visitors, but also company employees of other industries who are in charge of their diversity management. Top experts, politicians and association leaders from all over present and discuss challenges and solutions regarding the current, global situation of the LGBT+ community. The all-day conference usually takes place at the CityCube Berlin and is complimentary to all ITB exhibitors and visitors.

Additionally, the LGBT+ Tourism Educational Hub offers presentation slots for registered exhibitors. The popular LGBT+ Tourism Media Get Together in the LGBT+ Tourism Media Café is exclusively designed for media meetings, while the regular LGBT+ Tourism Café is open to all registered ITB attendees. The Global LGBT+ Leadership Summit will be part of the LGBT+ panels during the ITB Convention. The LGBT+ Happy Hour will be a fun event with drag queen entertainment, DJ sounds and raffle drawings on the last trade show day.
